The ADG NCC NER, Maj Gen Ananta Bhuyan, SM called on Shri Satya Pal Malik,Hon’ble Governor of Meghalaya at Raj Bhavan , Shillong.
During his meeting, ADG apprised the Governor regarding the various assistance provided by the NCC cadets to the State Govt machinery in the form of crowd control, awareness regarding COVID 19 and manning of data centres by the cadets, distribution
of homemade masks by the cadets. ADG also apprised the Hon’ble Governor regardingthe expansion of NCC in border areas of Meghalaya to facilitate students of far flung offareas to also get an opportunity to be a NCC cadet. The Hon’ble governor, who himself
was a Senior Division NCC cadet, was quite appreciative of the NCC cadets and their
contribution towards the society.
