The 89th convocation of Computer Training and Language Training Departments took place at the Auditorium of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Quinton road. Shri N. Munish Singh, Regional Director Indian Council for Cultural Relations graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The other dignitaries who were present were the Revered monks of the Ramakrishna Order.
This was the first convocation after the pandemic where the function was held maintaining all the SOP of COVID. The training was said to have been conducted in a hybrid model of Online and Offline system.
Shri Singh addressed the gathering and added, that the students are fortunate to avail the facilities offered by the training of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Cultural Centre. While reminiscing his visit abroad, he also mentioned that most people know India through Swami Vivekananda and everyone should know and read him to enrich their lives.
Earlier in his inaugural address, Swami Hitakamanandaji Maharaj, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Shillong, inspired the students and said that hard work and perseverance is the only key to success.
The result of the 89th session of Computer training and 30th session of ṃ̇. anguage was declared. During the function, the center distributed about 419 Certificates to the students of Computer and Language trainees of the institute who are said to have completed. But the most coveted award was that of Computer Gift which was awarded to two meritorious students – Ibaraidei and Dibanto Sari
The students 0who topped the academics were Computer-Beginner: Mr Francis Sumer, Computer-Intermediate Susmita Paul, Accounting and Tally: Nisha Pyngrope, Photo Editing: Ms Bandarilang Kshiar, Illustrator: Ms Banisha Pyngrope, Database I : Ms Mebabet Kharkongor, My SQL: Mr Dibanto Sari, Python programming: Mr Rajdeep Chanda, PC Maintenance: Mr Kushal Das.Swami Divyaswarupanandaji proposed the vote of thanks and said that it is a privilege to serve who are eager to get knowledge.
