BJP MLA Shri Sanbor Shullai concluded the financial distribution programme on 25.07.2021 at Anjalee Parking Cantonment Area for the resident of Shillong Cantonment Area. The financial distribution programme provided to the vulnerable including Taxi Driver, Teer Counter Employees, Physically Handicapped, daily wage employees working in various shop effected by the Pandemic, Domestic workers and Hawkers of 19th South Shillong Constituency was part of Special Urban Works Programme (SUWP) Scheme 2021-2022, Govt of Meghalaya and also from the one-year salary of MLA Shri Sanbor Shullai.
BJP MLA Shri Sanbor Shullai and MCIC 19th South Shillong Constituency in collaboration with Dorbar Shnong, Village Council, Welfare Societies and CCMT’s of 19th South Shillong Constituency has provided financial assistance of Rs 2000/- (Rupees two thousand) only each to 5000 beneficiaries comprises of fourteen localities of 19th South Shillong Constituency. The financial assistance is provided as a relief to the vulnerable poor BPL family due to the outbreak of covid-19 pandemic. During the programme MLA Shri Sanbor Shullai has committed to continuously assist the vulnerable poor of 19th South Shillong Constituency who has been directly or indirectly affected by the lockdown and also due to Covid-19.
