The Chief Minister’s State Level Inter School Athletic Meet 2023 kicked off today at SAI, STC Shillong, NEHU with representation from all the 12 Districts of the State which witnessed the participation of 818 Athletes for Under 14, Under 16 & Under 18 years categories for both Boys & Girls respectively. A total of 98 Technical Officials and 36 Team Officials are also part of this Athletic Event.

Smti. Isawanda Laloo, IAS, Director of Sports & Youth Affairs, Govt. of Meghalaya was the Chief Guest for the opening ceremony along with the presence of Shri. John F. Kharshiing, President of MSOA, as the Guest of Honor. Present during the ceremony were Assistant Directors of Sports & Youth Affairs Shri. P.B War Nongbri and Shri. K. Passah, along with other various District Sports Officers from the Districts and other invitees.
