On Feb’ 15, 2024, 100 Battalion of BSF Meghalaya organized a Civic Action Programme at Border out Post Dalu, West Garo Hills. The event was graced by Sh Ajay Kumar Tiwari Comdt 100 Bn BSF. The event commenced with a 3 Km Marathon race, featuring the spirited involvement of students from bordering schools. The marathon aimed to promote a healthy lifestyle and community spirit among the youth.

As part of the initiative to encourage sportsmanship, bicycles and sports items were distributed to the winners of the Marathon race. This gesture not only recognizes the talent and effort of the participants but also emphasizes the BSF’s commitment to fostering a positive environment for the development of local youth.

The program was also attended by local headmen and villagers, who expressed their gratitude for the BSF’s role in supporting the educational and physical well-being of the students.
