Seema Praharis of the Border Security Force Meghalaya, as part of their continuous efforts to safeguard the welfare of the local population residing in the border areas, organized Civic Action Program cum Free Medical Camps at different locations along the Indo-Bangladesh border of Meghalaya.

Seema Praharis of 4th Battalion of BSF Meghalaya organized a free medical camp cum civic action program in bordering villages Muktapur, Jaliakhola, Synkhat and Lyngkhat under the West Jaintia Hills and East Khasi Hills districts. During the camp, doctors from the BSF conducted free health checkups and distributed medicines to the needy villagers. More than 400 local villagers from nearby border areas benefited from the medical camp.

As part of the civic action program, electric appliances were also distributed to the villagers. The local villagers and Headmen expressed their appreciation for the noble efforts made by the BSF in providing essential services and support to the border population.
