The Sati Raja Memorial Secondary School, under the auspices of the RiBhoi Area Welfare Association (RAWA), concluded its Annual Sports Meet 2024 with grandeur and fervor. Hosted by the esteemed Sir Augustine Kharsyntiew, the ceremony witnessed a plethora of remarkable events and accolades.

The ceremony commenced with a warm Welcome Speech by the Headmistress, Smt. Balakyntiew Umbah, who extended gratitude to all participants and contributors for their unwavering support towards the school’s endeavors.

Highlighting the spirit of sportsmanship, prizes were distributed to all the winners who showcased their prowess during the three-day sports extravaganza. The coveted title of Best House was clinched by Kiang Nangbah House, while Wickliffe House earned accolades for the Best Marchpast. Tirot Singh House was lauded for excelling in both Aerobics and Tent House categories.

The Chief Guest of the event, Shri Isynei Hinge, President of Young Minds, delivered an inspiring speech urging the students to excel not only in sports but also in academics, emphasizing cooperation with teachers and school authorities.

Adding to the motivational fervor, the Guest of Honor, Smt. Banrilin Lyngdoh, Block Resource Coordinator (BRC) of Umsning Block, addressed the gathering, encouraging students to strive for excellence in all spheres of life.

The ceremony was graced by esteemed personalities including Shri H.
