In various operations conducted on 04 April 2025, the vigilant troops of the BSF Meghalaya Frontier, have seized contraband items and cattle that were intended to be smuggled across the international border into Bangladesh.

Acting on specific inputs, BSF troops, in coordination with local police, launched multiple operations in sensitive border areas, effectively preventing smuggling attempts. The seized items include cattle, liquor, and other contraband goods, valued at over ₹40 lakhs.

The BSF remains committed to curbing cross-border crimes and upholding the sanctity of the international boundary. All seized items have been handed over to the concerned authorities for further legal action.
