Based on recent reports of individuals collecting money illegally at Motphran and Police Bazaar in the name of the group “Ki Khlur u Hynniewtrep,” Bah Devid Kharsyntiew, the former president of the group, has come forward to clarify that the organization was officially disbanded in 2023 and is no longer active in any public or social matters.

In his statement given to the media on the 18th of June 2025, Bah Devid said that if the public encounters anyone asking for or collecting money illegally in the name of the group, they should hold those individuals accountable. He emphasized that since the group has already disbanded, it no longer holds any responsibility, and such actions are done solely by individuals for personal gain. He stated that he will not take any responsibility for such activities and encouraged people to report these individuals to the police.

He further urged the public not to give money blindly to anyone collecting donations illegally.

Additionally, he mentioned that if former members of the disbanded group are found involved in such illegal acts, they will have to take full responsibility for their actions.
