The Regional Process Lab (RPL) for State Master Trainers under the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan was formally inaugurated on 1st September 2025 at the Institute of Hotel Management, Shillong. This week-long programme, running from 1st to 7th, September 2025, brings together representatives from the four North Eastern states of Meghalaya, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, and Tripura.Organised by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs (MoTA) in collaboration with the Bharat Rural Livelihood Foundation (BRLF), the RPL marks a critical step in building capacity at the grassroots level for effective implementation of the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan.The inaugural session was graced by Shri T. Roumuan Paite, IRS, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Tribal Affairs and CMD, National Scheduled Tribes Finance & Development Corporation (NSTFDC), and Shri Sibhi Chakravarthy Sadhu, IAS, Secretary, Community & Rural Development, Government of Meghalaya.In his address, Shri T. Roumuan Paite provided a comprehensive overview of the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan, outlining its objectives, strategic roll-out, and implementation framework. He emphasized the importance of village action plans, the visioning exercise, and the expected outcomes at the village level that are aimed at transforming service delivery for tribal communities.Shri Sibhi Chakravarthy Sadhu, in his welcome address, highlighted Meghalaya’s commitment to the Abhiyan and shared the roll-out strategy starting from the Regional Process Lab, followed by State-level orientation, State Process Lab, District and Block Process Labs, leading to grassroots-level implementation.The RPL training is designed to build core competencies among the State Master Trainers, with a focus on:• Ethics and values• Goal setting and team building• Handling real-time scenarios• Learning and insights from the field• Theory of change and convergence planning• Public management and the role of Aadi KarmayogisThe programme aims to equip trainers to lead transformation efforts aligned with the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision, with a strong emphasis on enhanced service delivery at the grassroots level.This Regional Process Lab serves as a platform to strengthen collaboration among participating states and drive forward the mission of empowering tribal communities through structured capacity-building and visionary leadership.
