On the occasion of Teacher’s Day, the underprivileged children from SPARK Educational Centres organized a heartfelt programme to honour their teachers and acknowledge the vital role they play in shaping young lives.
The programme was organized at Mawlong Village, Mawlynrei Village, Pongkung Villagage, Rangmen Village and Bara Bazaar slum where more than 300 children actively participated and made all the efforts to show their love, care, respect and gratitude towards their dear Teachers.
The event was filled with touching moments as many children came forward to express their deep gratitude. They shared how their teachers have inspired and supported them, not only academically but also emotionally and personally. The most moving moment came when some children shared their dream of becoming teachers themselves—so they, too, could help other children access education and support. This simple yet powerful declaration stood out as the greatest reward for the teachers present: to know they had become role models.
The programme also included special performances by the children, each one highlighting how their teachers had made a lasting impact on their lives. Though the event was held in modest settings, it radiated the brightest light—one of joy, emotion, motivation, and gratitude.
It was, without doubt, one of the most beautiful celebrations of Teacher’s Day—a tribute from hearts full of hope to those who helped shape them.
