The Constitution Club of India turned into a hub of inspiration and commitment today as Positive Barta hosted the National Awareness Conclave, celebrating one of India’s most remarkable green missions—the planting of one crore trees within a single year.

What started as an ambitious idea has transformed into a nationwide people’s movement, drawing participation from farmers, students, women entrepreneurs, and community volunteers. The initiative symbolizes not just environmental revival but also a united vision of building a healthier and sustainable India.

“This achievement is not only about numbers,” said Dr. Malay Pit, Founder and CEO of Positive Barta. “Every sapling planted is a symbol of care, courage, and responsibility. It represents our promise to restore ecological balance and safeguard the future.”

A highlight of the conclave was the recognition of women entrepreneurs, who played a crucial role in the mission. Many women-led groups established seed banks, promoted sustainable businesses, and empowered communities, proving that environmental progress is inseparable from social development. “These women are not just supporting families; they are transforming communities while becoming guardians of nature,” Dr. Pit emphasized.

The event saw participation from leaders across diverse fields, including Dr. Ayanjit Sen (defence forces trainer and academic), Dr. Parimal Kanti Mondal (national leader and policy strategist), Shri Sandeep Verma (Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Labour & Employment), Mr. Vaibhav Parashar (Director, Versol Solutions), and Dr. Suresh Singhvi (Co-Director, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital). Eminent journalists like Mr. Mukesh Koushik (Dainik Bhaskar), Mr. S.H. Shams (Missile Express Group), and Ms. Arti Rai (senior television journalist) shared perspectives on the media’s responsibility in shaping climate awareness.

The conclave also spotlighted the grassroots strength of the mission. Thousands of youth volunteers, teachers, doctors, and social workers not only planted saplings but also nurtured them, ensuring survival and growth. For many, the act was deeply personal. “When I planted my first sapling, it felt like a prayer for the future,” said one young volunteer. “Seeing it grow makes me feel part of something bigger than myself.”

Organizers announced plans to expand the Green Mission, encouraging schools, institutions, and new communities to join. The vision is to create a self-sustaining ecosystem where every tree contributes to environmental and social development.

As the conclave concluded, it was hailed not just as a gathering of distinguished voices but as a tribute to every individual who contributed—farmers, students, women leaders, and countless volunteers who turned saplings into symbols of hope.

Amidst growing climate concerns, the conclave reinforced a powerful message: collective action, compassion, and perseverance can build a greener and more inclusive future. For Positive Barta, the mission continues with a clear vision—an India where sustainability and development grow hand in hand, and where every tree planted is a promise of life.
