The Chief Inspector of Boilers and Factories, Meghalaya has informed that the factory named M/s Godrej Consumer Products Limited situated at 15th Mile G. S. Road, Byrnihat, Ri-Bhoi District, Meghalaya-793101 registered under the Factories Act, 1948, under Registration No. SH/90 is henceforth derecognized as the unit does not constitute a “Factory” as per the provision of Section 2 m (i) of the Factories Act, 1948 and the Meghalaya Factories Rules, 1980. Hence, its name has been deleted from the list of registered factories in the State of Meghalaya.
