Ms. V. Hekali Zhimomi, IAS, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and Director General of NACO, Government of India, visited Laskein, West Jaintia Hills district, Meghalaya, on 19th September 2025 to witness the Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan health camp.
During the field visit, she reviewed the ongoing health interventions, interacted with beneficiaries and frontline workers and emphasized the importance of accessible and inclusive healthcare services for women and families at the grassroots level.
