At the Border Security Force Headquarters, New Delhi, the Director General of BSF, Shri Daljit Singh Chaudhary, IPS, felicitated Frontier Headquarters Meghalaya with the “Rajbhasha Shield 2024-25” for securing the 2nd position in outstanding work in Rajbhasha Hindi. Shri O. P. Upadhyay, Inspector General, Meghalaya Frontier, proudly received this prestigious honor.
Meghalaya Frontier has consistently remained at the forefront of promoting and developing Rajbhasha Hindi. Under the dynamic leadership of Shri O. P. Upadhyay, IG, the initiatives towards the upliftment of Hindi have gained remarkable momentum. Regularly organized competitions, seminars, and training programs have played a vital role in enhancing the skills and confidence of BSF personnel.
In his motivating address, the Director General remarked, “The extensive use of Hindi in official work strengthens our cultural identity.” He also called upon all officers and personnel to make Rajbhasha Hindi an inseparable part of their daily official functions.
