Shillong: Don Bosco Youth Centre, Shillong — one of the region’s leading institutions dedicated to youth skill development — continues its mission of empowering young people through practical and vocational training.

On this day, the Centre’s Director, Fr. Michel Makri, presented a sewing machine to Ms. Sinora Khongshei, a trainee who successfully completed her course in tailoring and embroidery. The gesture recognized her dedication, performance, and potential to build a sustainable livelihood.

Don Bosco Youth Centre regularly supports deserving and outstanding trainees who complete various skill-based programs, including computer literacy, laptop operation, tailoring, embroidery, and other vocational courses. Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Fr. Makri emphasized that the recognition was based on the trainer’s assessment of Ms. Khongshei’s performance and diligence.
