The Office of the Controller of Communication Accounts (CCA), North East India Circle, Department of Telecommunications, is going to organise a Digital Life Certificate (DLC) Camp at the BSNL Office, Tura on 6 th November. It is a part of the Nationwide DLC Campaign 4.0. The camp will assist pensioners in submitting their Digital Life Certificates through Aadhaar-based Face Authentication technology to ensure 100 percent submission. Under this initiative, they will conduct five pensioners’ outreach camps across five cities in the North Eastern Region to provide convenient and accessible services to all eligible pensioners.
The target is around 1000 pensioners whose Digital Life Certificates are due to expire in November 2025 and is being conducted under the Nationwide DLC Campaign 4.0 organised by the Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare (DoPPW), Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions. In alignment with the Digital India and Ease of Living missions, the department is also implementing additional welfare measures such as health camps and cyber security awareness campaigns to support the well-being and digital empowerment of pensioners. For that they receive both timely assistance for DLC submission and access to essential services under one platform.
