In commemoration of the adoption of the Constitution of India, the Meghalaya Secretariat observed Samvidhan Diwas on November 26, 2025. The observance aimed to reaffirm the commitment of government officials and staff to uphold the core values enshrined in the Constitution, including justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity.

The ceremony was led by Principal Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Shri Sampath Kumar, who guided the collective reading of the Preamble at the Secretariat porch. Officers and staff from various departments actively participated in the recitation, demonstrating their dedication to constitutional principles.
