SHILLONG : Bihar MLC Devesh Kumar on Thursday praised the Union Budget, stating that it provides a clear blueprint to transform India into a developed nation by 2047.
Speaking to reporters in Shillong, Kumar said the budget aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’, which aims to make India a developed economy by the year 2047.
“The Union Budget has a blueprint for making India a developed economy by 2047. Our Prime Minister talks of Viksit Bharat, aiming to develop India by 2047. So, it is a step in that direction,” Kumar said.
He highlighted that the budget addresses the needs of multiple sections of society, including youth, women, farmers, and entrepreneurs, and focuses on inclusive growth.
Kumar is currently in Shillong as part of an outreach initiative to create awareness about the Union Budget and its expected impact on citizens.
“We want to inform each and every citizen of the country about the budget and how it will propel the country to reach a developed status,” he added.
