Nongkseh Sports Social and Cultural Club (SSC) from Shillong clinched the title of the 11th All India Chief Minister’s Gold Cup International Football Tournament after defeating BSF (Jalandhar) 1–0 in the final.
The final match was played at Jorethang in South Sikkim on Wednesday, January 22, 2026, and witnessed a highly competitive encounter between the two sides.
The lone goal of the match was scored by Kynsaibor Lhuid in the 51st minute of the second half, sealing a historic victory for the Shillong-based club.
For his outstanding performance throughout the tournament, Kynsaibor Lhuid was awarded the Man of the Tournament title and received a Tata Tiago car as part of the award.
As tournament champions, Nongkseh SSC also received a cash prize of ₹20 lakh, marking a major achievement for the club and Meghalaya football.
