RI-BHOI : The Synjuk ki Rangbah Shnong Ri-Bhoi District (SRS) has announced that it will convene a General Council meeting of all headmen across the district to deliberate on key issues concerning the welfare and development of Ri-Bhoi.
Addressing the media, Chairman B.B. Makdoh, in the presence of Secretary P.B. Sylliang and other shnong leaders, informed that the meeting is scheduled to be held on May 6, 2026, at the District Library Hall, starting from 10 AM.
He stated that the General Council will serve as an important platform for headmen to come together, discuss, and deliberate on various challenges affecting villages across Ri-Bhoi District.
The meeting is expected to focus on key developmental concerns, governance issues, and matters related to the overall welfare and progress of shnong shnong within the district.
The SRS has urged all Rangbah Shnong to attend the meeting without fail, emphasizing the importance of collective participation in addressing pressing local issues.
