Based on the contact tracing status and testing of the high risk contacts and the reports received thereof and in supersession to orders issued on 22^nd , 23^rd, 24^th, 28^th and 29^th October, 2020 and in exercise of the powers under the Meghalaya Epidemic Diseases, COVID-19 Regulations, 2020 and Amendments thereof, the District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills District in orders issued on 9^th  November, 2020 has lifted the containment of the  first floor of the house of Shaicinora Kharshandi at Jaiaw Lumsyntiew, the compound of Dr. Clarify Syrti at Pynthorbah, Block- 2, the house of Batsy Khongwir at Jaiaw Lumpyllon, the apartment (top floor) of Mr. Biswajit Ghosh, Building No. 2 of Mrs. Geeta Sikh Dhar, Rilbong near Beat House and the house of Woling Lyngdoh, Mawkhar Block- 3 with effect from 9^th November, 2020. 

Due to detection of positive COVID-19 cases/high risk contacts in the residence of Miss Medaribha Suting, Kharmalki, Malki which requires contact tracing, testing and isolation  to be effected in the interest of health of general public to prevent against any possible spread of COVID-19, the District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills District in an order issued on 9^th November, 2020 has declared the above mentioned  residence as a micro containment area so as to restrict unregulated entry and exit on the site with effect from 9^th November, 2020.
