Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Textiles, Shri Pabitra Margherita will be visiting Shillong tomorrow to attend a Rozgar Mela of Government of India. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is expected to address the Rozgar Mela participants via video conferencing during the inaugural session.

The event will also witness the participation of newly appointed candidates who have secured jobs under various central recruitment agencies. 

The event aims to boost employment initiatives and provide job opportunities to eligible youth across the region.

The Mela is organised under the aegis by the Office of the Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Shillong, in collaboration with various government departments, at the State Convention Centre, Shillong.
