9 MER BARIDUA : A man was seriously injured following a violent marital dispute at 9 Mer Baridua on Sunday night, after he was allegedly attacked with a sdie during an argument with his wife.
According to information gathered, the incident occurred at around 9 pm, when a heated argument reportedly broke out between the couple at their residence.
During the argument, the husband, identified as Sikander Lyngdoh, was allegedly struck on the head with a sdie, leaving him seriously injured and reportedly unconscious.
Man found lying injured inside house
After receiving information about the incident, the Rangbah Shnong immediately alerted police at Khanapara Police Station.
Police subsequently arrived at the location and began an investigation. Sikander was reportedly found lying on the floor inside the house with blood around him, apparently resulting from the serious head injury.
He was immediately shifted to Health City Hospital for emergency medical treatment.
Wife reportedly flees after incident
The man’s wife, identified as Poonam Bosper, 36, reportedly fled the area following the incident.
As of the latest information available, she has not yet been traced.
