SHILLONG : A motorcycle parked along the roadside at Malki was set on fire by unidentified miscreants in the early hours of Friday.
Police have registered a case and launched an investigation to identify and arrest those involved in the incident.
The incident took place a day after miscreants allegedly hurled a petrol bomb at the Nongmensong Police Outpost on Thursday night.
The petrol bomb attack damaged a chair and a section of the wall of the police outpost. No casualties were reported in the incident.
The latest arson incident comes amid heightened security in Shillong following a series of incidents reported in different parts of the city.
