SHILLONG : A woman who was allegedly robbed of her gold ornaments by a man suspected to be a drug user more than a month ago has now recovered her jewellery.
Speaking to the media at the Shillong Press Club on November 4, 2026, Rawalpindi Sohlang expressed her gratitude to former Sohïong MDC Sherborlang L Mawlong for helping her pursue the matter and recover her gold ornaments.
She said Mawlong had extended his assistance in ensuring that she got back her jewellery.
Sohlang further revealed that she did not have to spend even a single rupee to recover the ornaments, which were returned to her on November 3, 2026.
