I am to clarify that the vehicle bearing the Registration No. ML 05 AB 3209 (Toyota Innova) as highlighted in one of the local newspaper (The Shillong Times dated 10.10.2025) and various Electronic Media in connection with the misused of siren and displaying of Led lights which was detected by the Ri Bhoi District Administration on the evening of 09.10.2025 does not belong to the High Court of Meghalaya but was engaged for duty by the office of the undersigned through a local car vendor for High Court duty. Further, I am to also clarify that the misuse of siren and displaying of Led lights by the driver of the vehicle in question was detected after completion of such duty.Commissioner of Transport,Meghalaya, Shillong.
