Shillong : Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Thursday visited the Telangana Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC), describing it as one of the best such facilities in the country and expressing his intention to replicate key aspects of its governance model in Meghalaya.
During his visit, Sangma said the centre’s success lies not only in its advanced technology but also in the efficient coordination between government departments that helps improve governance and public service delivery.
Calling the Telangana ICCC a model worth emulating, the Chief Minister said it serves as an excellent example for states seeking to strengthen governance through technology-driven systems.
“It is not just the technology being used here, but the system developed to ensure coordination among departments and better services for citizens,” Sangma said.
The Chief Minister noted that many states can learn from Telangana’s approach and said he personally visited the facility to understand its functioning and best practices.
Assuring that Meghalaya would benefit from the visit, Sangma said the state government will attempt to adopt and replicate as many successful elements of the Telangana ICCC model as possible.
The move is expected to support Meghalaya’s ongoing efforts to improve governance, enhance inter-departmental coordination and strengthen public service delivery through technology-driven solutions.
