The inaugural event of “Meri Mati Mera Desh” was carried out by State President Shri Ernest Mawrie ji at Laitkor, Lumheh, Nongkrem Mandal, which falls under East Khasi Hills District, Meghalaya. He was accompanied by State committee, State Mahila Morcha, and State Yuva Morcha team and Shillong city District President.

To celebrate Azadi Amrit Mahostav of Independence, under the “Meri Mati Mera Desh” campaign soil will be collected from different villages of the blocks, from all Districts across Meghalaya into the Amrit Kalash. The Amrit Kalash will then be taken to New-Delhi to be placed in the Amrit Vatika.

State President Shri Ernest Mawrie ji today inaugurated the month long campaign at the village level at East Khasi Hills District Meghalaya.
