To Commemorate NCC Day, a felicitation ceremony was held in Raj Bhavan today.
The ceremony was graced by HE Shri Satya Pal Malik, the Governor of Meghalaya.

The NCC Cadets of NE Date have been at the forefront of the fight against Covid. To
recognize their efforts, selected cadets and Associate NCC Officers were felicitated by
the Hon’ble Governor.

The ceremony started by an introductory speech by the ADG, NCC Date NER Maj
Gen Ananta Bhuyan, SM who informed the audience about the NCC activities carried
out by the cadets of the Directorate this year and the plans of expansion in Borders
Areas. He also thanked the State Govt for all their support to facilitate NCC activities in
the State.

Hon’ble Governor presented certificates to the cadets & Associate NCC Officers and
appreciated their efforts in Nation Building and various social activities He stressed on
the contribution of NCC towards National Integration and in grooming disciplined and
patriotic youth.
