BJP MLA Shri Sanbor Shullai cum Chairman of the MCIC of 19th South Shillong Constituency on the 18th December 2021 provided financial assistance to the 36 (Thirty Six) Committees comprises of Christian Tribal Church Committees, Christian Non-Tribal Church Committees, Dorbar Shnong, Village Council, Covid Care Management Team (CCMT), Welfare Societies, Hindu Welfare Committees and Muslim Welfare Committees of all 19th South Shillong Constituency as a mark of goodwill gesture to celebrate Christmas, New Year 2021 and also to promote peace, harmony and secularism in 19th South Shillong Constituency.
The total amount of Rs 10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten lakhs) was spent from his salary earning for the programme.

Applauding the effort of all the community in promoting peace and harmony in 19th South Shillong Constituency, MLA Shri Sanbor Shullai said that all initiative will be taken to ensure that the BJP 19th South Shillong will ensure that spirit of secularism will be promoted in the entire 19th South Shillong Constituency in particular and state of Meghalaya as a whole.
