On 30 April’ 2023, troops of 100 Bn BSF Meghalaya apprehended 02 Bangladeshi nationals namely MD Habibullah  (31 yrs) resident of district- Netrakona and Md Jahangir Mia (35 yrs) resident of district- Noakhali, both from Bangladesh while roaming suspiciously inside Indian territory of West Garo Hills district.  

As per revelation made by apprehended Bangladeshi nationals, one Bangladeshi tout, namely Farukh resident of Sherpur, Bangladesh facilitated both of them to illegally entered Indian territory. He promised them to get a job/work in India at the cost of Bangladeshi takas and to arrange   fake documents for them. Apprehended persons were handed over to PS- Purakahsia, West Garo hills for further legal formalities.
