Shri Sanbor Shullai, MLA who is also the Chairman of the Committee has conducted a joint inspection on the 20-11-2021, of the ongoing construction of RCC Seating Gallery, Retaining Wall, Storm Water Drain at the Outdoor Sports Stadium, at Madan Laban, Shillong Sanctioned under SYS State Scheme for an amount of Rs. 1,65,80,000/- (Rupees One Crore Sixty-Five Lakhs and Eighty Thousand).
Thereafter, a joint inspection was also conducted for the ongoing construction of (1) Green Spaces Children Park at Madan Laban sanctioned under AMRUT Central Scheme for an amount of Rs. 55,35000/- (Rupees Fifty-Five Lakhs Thirty-Five Thousand) (2) Construction of Green Spaces Children Park at Mynsain- Lumparing sanctioned for an amount of Rs. 27,00 000/- (Rupees Twenty-Seven Lakhs) (3) Construction of Green Spaces Children Park at Dhobitala, Jhalupara sanctioned for an amount of Rs. 30,00,000/- (Rupees Thirty Lakhs). The MLA during the inspection was accompanied by the Chief Engineer of State Sports Council Shri B. Syiem and his official, the Junior Engineer of Shillong Municipal Board Shri P. Suting and his official, Shri Ricky Shullai Co-Chairman MTDC Ltd. Shri. Ioster Sunn- Rangbah Shnong, Shri Mangkara Rani Asstt. Rangbah Shnong, Shri R. G Marbaniang President of Madan Laban Sports & Cultural Club, Shri Alvin Shullai President Seng Samla Madan Laban, Smti Batinora Rani- President Seng Kynthei Madan Laban & Members of Dorbar Shnong, Seng Samla Seng Kynthei, of Madan Laban-Riat Laban.
The total amount of the above-mentioned schemes is Rs. 2,78,15,000/- (Rupees Two Crore Seventy-Eight Lakhs and Fifteen Thousand) Shri Sanbor Shullai-MLA, expressed his sincere thanks to the official of various department for preparation of plan estimate and DPR of the said projects and get it sanctioned by the Government, he has also expressed his sincere and special thanks to the members of Lumparing Welfare Society and members of the Shillong Cantonment Area Development Committee, the societies, and the land owners for parting off their land free of cost for the welfare and interest of Children, Students, Youths and General Public.
