SHILLONG : The Meghalaya Cabinet on Monday approved the extension of the tenure of BM War, retired Chief Engineer (Civil) of the Meghalaya Energy Corporation Limited (MeECL), as Chief Technical Adviser (Generation) in the Power Department.
The decision was taken during a Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma.
Briefing the media after the meeting, Cabinet Minister Marcuise N Marak said the Cabinet had approved the extension for BM War to continue in the technical advisory role.
“The Cabinet has approved the extension for BM War, retired Chief Engineer (Civil), MeECL, to continue as the Chief Technical Adviser (Generation) in the Power Department,” Marak said.
BM War will continue to advise the Power Department on matters related to power generation following the Cabinet’s approval of the extension.
