The BJP Mahila Morcha, Meghalaya
expresses great shock at the indiscriminate killing
of innocent mother named Priskila Suchiang 45
years of age at Donaskur Village Elaka Narpuh on
the 11
th September 2023. We express most
heartfelt condolences to the two children of
Priskila Suchiang, the family and loved ones. The
Vicious attack marks a low point of peace building . We feel immense pain following this gruesome act
and denounce in the strongest terms this heinous
attack that shows disregard for the Fundamental
Right to life as guaranteed by the Constitution of
India. The senseless killing of women is
unacceptable under any circumstances and we
stand firmly together with all woman of the State. The murder of Priskila Suchiang reflects violence
that bedevils our society and reinforces the need
for us to continue to pursue a holistic approach to
avoid this disease of violence in our State. We have
a faith in the Criminal Justice System of India on

this matter and we urge anyone with information
to come forward in assisting the investigation. Further State President BJP Mahila Morcha
Sususki Pariat condemns this horrific muder of the
45 year old mother of two and states that “Horrific
Murders of women such as this is shocking to our
very core and we must take every action necessary,
in an all-society effort to save lives and eradicate
violence at its very root. We wish to ensure that
the police are carrying out their investigations and
we expect a breakthrough in the case in short
period and punish the offender as specified in
criminal law”.
