The Delhi Unit of the Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) acted swiftly to save the life of a young boy from Meghalaya who collapsed in Delhi and was found in a critical condition.
Upon receiving information about the incident, members of the KSU Delhi Unit immediately rushed to the spot and took charge of the situation, ensuring the boy’s safety and arranging urgent medical care.
Although the boy’s family had already lodged an FIR with the authorities, officials on the ground handed over full responsibility to the KSU members once they arrived. The Union members then shifted the boy to a hospital, where he received timely medical attention.
After being discharged from the hospital, the boy was accommodated at Meghalaya House in Delhi. He is currently safe and is awaiting the arrival of his family from Shillong, who are expected to take him back home.
KSU Delhi Unit President Marbiang Khongwir expressed gratitude to Dr. Arshan Khongwir for his timely intervention and support at the hospital, which played a crucial role in ensuring proper treatment and care for the boy.
The Khasi Students’ Union reiterated its commitment to stand by members of the community during times of distress and to extend all possible assistance whenever required.
